Payolle lake – Pyrenees

With your dog, you can discover the Lac de Payolle in the French Pyrenees.

It is an artificial lake located in the communes of Arreau and Campan in the Hautes-Pyrénées. It is a site in the middle of nature where dogs are accepted. It is magnificent, the mountainous landscapes are preserved and you can breathe the pure mountain air there. Around the lake, many walks are accessible with your dog! We loved this moment and I really invite you to discover this preserved place with your dog. On site, please pay attention to nature, it is so precious! Provide poop bags and really leave nothing behind…. The lake is generally completely frozen over in winter, it is splendid. On site, there are often sled dogs so be careful 😉
