The caves of Matata

We went to Meschers in Charente, to visit the caves of Matata (former troglodyte dwellings) with Lego our Border Collie. Admission is free for the dog, it must be kept on a leash. The visit is done with an audio guide and the hostess has staggered the departures so that several dogs are not together and risk heckling in the caves. It was a very hot day and Lego thought it was too wow to be in caves with a cool and constant temperature! The creperie on the balcony above the ocean is very good too.
