Royal Abbey of Fontevraud

⚠⚠ Update 2023: this tourist site no longer accepts dogs!

This Benedictine abbey and its monastic city (the largest in Europe!) will delight history lovers!

We visited this site as a family with our little spitz Mango, during the summer holidays. At the reception, the hostesses informed us that small dogs were only accepted in a bag. Bags for dogs are available, to the delight of Mango, who was finally able to accompany us.

ATTENTION: only dogs carried in bags are accepted.
