Panoramic of the Domes

To climb the highest volcano in the Puys chain, namely the Puy de Dôme, you have the option of taking one of the paths of around 6km or taking the electric cogwheel train with the Panoramique des Dômes.

Journey time: 15 minutes. With Fiji, a medium-sized dog, we made the ascent by train and the descent on foot, taking the path of the goats. Beautiful panorama in perspective! Magnificent landscapes!

Access is allowed to dogs on board the train. Ticket price for the dog is 4,30€ (year 2021). We were not muzzled. On the various trails at the top and around, the dog is allowed, kept on a leash. The paths are very nice.

Please note that category 1 dogs are not accepted.
