Cruise Fort Boyard and Ile d’Aix

:

your dog is welcome here

Caly, our one-year-old golden retriever accompanied us during our stay in Oléron.

We went to La Rochelle for a day and decided to take the boat to visit the Ile d'Aix via Fort Boyard (which we could not visit because it was a private site, we just went around the Fort , not that big in the end anyway).

The company Croisières Inter-Iles asks that dogs remain on a leash and can go so far as to ask that the dog be muzzled (which was not our case).

On the way out, we were on the deck outside and on the way back inside.

Caly observed the landscape there and back, she was sprayed with photos by foreign tourists (she loved being a star).

The visit to the island of Aix is to be done because the landscape is magnificent and it is quite easy to do (put on good walking shoes anyway).

Remember to simply pick up well with the poop bags if the dog relieves himself. Be careful to show up 30 minutes before the departure of the shuttle and pay attention to the time of the return shuttle.
