Colmar along the water – Sweet Narcisse

After strolling through the cobbled streets of the old town of Colmar, having admired the pastel-coloured half-timbered houses and the monuments that line the squares shaded by hundred-year-old lime trees and having been jostled by the crowds of tourists, a a little boat trip in the "Little Venice" district was necessary to breathe a little and to relieve the pads of our companion.
That's what we did with Capsule, a Brittany spaniel, last summer and we did well. Half an hour along the Lauch in a flat-bottomed market gardener's boat: another way to rediscover the city, its colorful architecture, its bridges, its lush vegetation in places (at the start of the walk)...
There are several piers in town and I don't know if all the companies accept dogs. The one we had chosen did (necessarily). Its pier is located at the bottom of the St Pierre bridge next to the "Caveau de St Pierre". Friendly and benevolent welcome for Capsule (especially when boarding) and informative comments. A great experience.
