Angles resort

After a week in Les Angles, in the Pyrénées Orientales with our dogs, it's my turn to share my good "doggie" plan. We left with 4 people + 2 dogs: Fuji, shiba inu male, almost 9 months old, and Ukko, Finnish male from Lapland, 3 and a half years old. I would like to congratulate the resort as a whole for the very warm welcome given to our dog friends.

The accommodation, although open to criticism on many points (in particular the comfort of the bedding dating from the 60s), accepted dogs without a limit on the number (although with more than 2 dogs, I think we walk on it quickly ) and at no additional cost.

Around the residence, our dogs moved without a leash, without it bothering anyone (return on a leash near the road, all the same).

In the village, our dogs were able to enter all the shops we visited: Sport 2000 for equipment rental, bakery, pharmacy, Proxi supermarket...

To wander in the village, even if the roads are sometimes very busy (days of arrival and departure in particular), people drive slowly (looking for their way...) so that there is no real danger and passers-by are equally tolerant.

While my companion and Ukko's master were skiing, we went up to the middle of the station with the two dogs to find "our men" and even let Fuji and Ukko loose in a rather calm area, at the foot of a track accepting dogs, so that they do not represent any danger for the skiers and vice versa.

Our men found, we had lunch at the snacking L'Etoile Blanche which accepts dogs willingly. We have not had the opportunity to test the hiking trails (one week is too short!), it will be for next time... so if you want to ski in Les Angles and go with your dogs, n don't hesitate, they will be very well received
