Alliance Dijon Arc Voile

:

your dog is welcome here

My faithful companion is called Owen, Border Collie who was born on 28/06/2018. My dog is like my child, he follows me everywhere! At the beginning of summer 2018, we were looking with a friend (also with a Border Collie) for a water point to go cani-paddle near Dijon. Our goal was for the dogs to be invited to this game of guaranteed fun!

On the website of the Dijon Arc Voile Alliance, no rules concerning our 4-legged friends were listed. So we contacted them to ask them the question directly. Very pleasant person on the phone who informs us of the presence of a dog on the site and that therefore our hairballs are necessarily welcome.

We then ask him the question of the equipment, to which he replies very honestly that since we want to do a one-hour session with our darlings, we won't have the right to brand new paddle boards. Indeed, he informs us that at the risk of potential damage to the paddle with the dog's claws, they keep the old paddles that are used for this kind of service.

When we arrive, the dogs are greeted with caresses, no bowl installed because we are right on the edge of the lake. We are asked to pay before leaving. The requested price is 10 euros for 1 hour of pleasure! The activity is free for dogs.

We are asked to put on life jackets and then we are given all the equipment. The gentleman who greeted us came to help us put the paddles in the water, a very helpful and friendly person. The hour passed without us really realizing it, no reproach on a delay of a few minutes on the contrary!

The dogs were very wet but the mistresses too! The only rule imposed is to know how to manage your dog and the equipment at the same time 🙂

We strongly recommend this place for a moment of pleasure with your 4 legs because the service is inexpensive, the welcome is warm and the staff very helpful! This year we will go back and this time we will have acquired a life jacket for the dogs because even if it is not compulsory it is always safer for the animal but also for us!
