The Mas d’Aspech lodges

Welcome to the Mas d’Aspech lodges with your dogs, wide open spaces await you for your walks!

We opened since 2006 and we welcome doggies among others.

Many of our vacationers stay in our lodges with their dog(s)!

Just tell us that you are coming with your companion(s), dog welcome (cats and other animals too).

We accept up to 3 uncategorized dogs (more if very small and well-behaved), as long as it happens with mutual respect and the dogs are accompanied, usually it goes very well.

They do not pay and no special deposit for them, only thing, we are counting on you to ensure that everything goes well! 😉

On site on request and if necessary, we can provide you with bowls and an old blanket, but generally dogs prefer their own!

Also on request depending on temperature a hose to connect outside to water your dog.

Large spaces will be at your disposal in the cottage and also outside the cottage, from which you can go straight for a walk in the woods with your favorite companion. The Lot river (20 km) or Aveyron (27 km) offer some places to access water for swimming, there is also a lake Puylaroque (7 km) and Caussade (15 km), at Parisot (30 km). Also in the hamlet a small pond is present, but the level depends on the drought. Other walks will be presented to you on site.

Please for safety reasons do not leave them alone inside except in special cases.

We are also counting on you to clean up any little gifts they might leave in the garden 😉

Note that other dogs can roam freely in the hamlet, but generally, there is no problem with that.

For the veterinarian, the closest will be in Lalbenque (8 km) if necessary and the largest veterinary clinic will be in Cahors (30 km)

Straddling the Lot and Aveyron valleys, our gîtes are ideally located to allow you to spend holidays in the south of the Lot and the north of Tarn-et-Garonne with your companion(s).

20 km from Saint Cirq Lapopie, 30 km from Saint Antonin Noble Val, 30 km from Cahors, 15 km from Caussade, 45 km from Cordes sur Ciel, we are in a charming, very natural hamlet on the edge of the woods in the park regional natural park of the Causses du Quercy, open all year round.

Many activities nearby: nature or heritage walks, Cloup d'Aural phosphate mines, castles, remarkable villages, country markets, gourmet markets, truffle market, kayaking, swimming in lakes or rivers...

Note that a restaurant is in the hamlet and that it also accepts dogs.

We have 3 gîtes to offer you in the Lot which welcome dogs. (also 1 in Aubrac and 1 in Hérault).

These are old Quercynoises houses (18th century? surely older) totally independent and distant from each other. Only you occupy the cottage, everyone has their own swimming pool, it is private at the cottage. They are distributed in a charming hamlet.

– La Tuile à Loups gite (4 people): with 2 gardens, 1 bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds, living room, kitchen area.

– The Chevaliere gite (4 people) has a large plot of land of 5000 m² + a small kennel, a bedroom with a double bed, 2 quercy-type “canopy” beds in the living room, kitchen.

– Angèle's gîte (5 people) has a large plot of land and a fenced garden, a bedroom with a double bed (ground floor), a bedroom with 1 double bed and a single bed (upstairs), living room with kitchen area.

All our gîtes in Lot Quercy have a functional inglenook fireplace. So there is the swimming pool, the garden furniture, for the barbecue for safety reasons, you must use the indoor fireplaces or electric barbecue provided.

You can park in the cottage for each of the cottages.

Note that depending on the gîtes, the fences are of different heights, made of dry stone walls. Generally, dogs stay at the lodge with their owners, unless the dog has run away. We often have dogs who come to see us and it goes very well.

Also, if necessary, we can provide you with a kennel day (outside the gîte 500 meters away) in a screened park for your dog (€10 per day)
