The Gaille cottage

The gîte is designed so that the dogs are comfortable there:

– the private garden is well fenced (1,5m of sheep fencing)

– the terrace on the common garden side is also closed

– Access to the lake and walks is possible without going through the common garden

– Access to the swimming pool will be generally prohibited for dogs, to simplify hygiene and safety

– In the common garden, there are often: 2 Border Collies (including a male who does not like his male counterparts…), a friendly Australian Shepherd, 3 cats, 2 Shetland ponies who are not afraid of dogs, without count the hens in the park which sometimes escape…. We will therefore have to deal with this small world, but we will be able to free the premises in the event of difficulties between our animals, for agility for example.

In the apartment, everything is washable, we just ask you to prohibit marking pees and avoid damage.

For a bucolic stay with your 4-legged friends in the Landes forest, we offer an independent apartment and its private garden, in our property. The apartment consists of a living room with a sofa bed and a modular bedroom (2 single beds or a very large one according to request), as well as a bathroom with WC and walk-in shower.

Outside, we offer:

– 2 terraces with table, chairs, parasols, deck chairs

– an enclosed and shaded garden for your tranquility and that of our 4-legged friends

– direct access to our park, with a 5X10 swimming pool, a ping pong table, an archery practice, and a mini agility course 😀

– a breathtaking view of the park of our farm animals: sheep and dwarf goats, shetland ponies, chickens

– easy access (200m of paths) to Lac du Taste, a pretty fishing pond with a beach and fitness trail. Dog bathing is free and they love it.

Our three super dogs are very well cared for: There are 2 cats in the house, who often occupy the garden, but also 2 very sociable Shetland ponies, to whom we leave the garden every day. In a closed park, you can see: 2 dwarf goats (Perséphone and Hélios), 4 Ouessant sheep (Méthys, Léto, Athéna and Apollon), and 8 hens .. which do not all have a name but make very good eggs!
