Gîte le Bastidon

We happily and with great pleasure accept all types of dogs at the Bastidon gîte in Salernes, category 1 & 2 and up to 2 dogs, if you have a large family :)

The dog supplement of €15 is free for users of the EmmèneTonChien.com site (so tell us that you come from EmmèneTonChien.com when you make your reservation!)

Also cats, horses or other pets as long as the places are respected.

I also have an adorable doggie, so I know well the problem of going on vacation…. Being an animal lover, they are all welcome at the Bastidon!

Our dog, Apache, is a big guy of 55kg, he can impress when you arrive but is super nice with everyone, dogs, cats and humans!!. He is very playful and extremely cuddly and sociable with all his congeners!

Details concerning the reception of your animals:

Dogs :

We provide a mattress and two bowls. Please do not let him climb on the sofa or bed and provide linen to wipe him if he sometimes comes back wet from your walk!

For everyone's comfort, please pick up the droppings made around the buildings. Of course, we are counting on the good education of your loulou ;-).

Horses :

If you come with your horse, please fill out an attached questionnaire so that we can welcome it in the best conditions. Your horse will have a park with shelters, water and hay. Plan the complementary food if it has one. Please pick up the droppings made outside their park (equipment provided for this purpose). A tack room with tie bar and shower are at your disposal. Beyond an economic concern, but rather an ecological one, be careful not to use too much water, show reasoned consumption!

A participation of 15€ and a deposit by check of 250€ will be requested upon your arrival with your animals. This check will be returned to you or sent back or torn (by mutual agreement) within 3 days if I am absent when you leave. Check before your arrival that your animal is covered by your civil liability. These few rules are important so that we can continue to welcome animals with pleasure!

However, if your dog gets on the sofa or bed and this requires additional cleaning, a cleaning fee of €50 will be deducted from the deposit. Thank you for your understanding and vigilance.

Le Bastidon is an independent maisonette within a 4 hectare estate, with a surface area of ​​42m2 + 20m2 terrace.

Capacity: The layout has been made for 2 people but a convertible sofa can offer 2 additional beds.

You enter into a bedroom with a 140 double bed, bedside tables and bedside lamps, TV, heating and chest of drawers with a shower room and washbasin, heated towel rail (in heating season), hair dryer and toilets are accessible straight from the room.

Come and relax in the warm and comfortable living room with its fully equipped kitchen: fridge, freezer, induction hob, combi microwave oven, extractor hood, Senseo coffee maker, kettle, toaster, kitchen essentials and crockery for 4 people and a Table – Bar.

And its living room with fireplace, very comfortable rapido 140 convertible sofa, armchair, pouf and reversible air conditioning. Not to mention the splendid view of nature through two large arched windows opening onto the 20m2 terrace.

On the terrace, you will find an outdoor table and chairs, parasol and two deckchairs.

A second unusual accommodation type tiny house for two people with jacuzzi is available: the workshop of dreams Salernes. In the latter only small dogs will have enough space inside.

To entertain you, you have board games and self-service books and also outside with the ping-pong table, trampoline, swing, zen space: hammocks, bench, table.

A real cocoon in the heart of nature where you can go directly for a walk in the forest with your pet from your doorstep!

Are present on the property: A horse and a pony, a dog, two cats and chickens. Most live in total freedom around the house and during your stay, we will make sure to keep them close to us or in their respective enclosures to prevent them from invading!!! Our two kittens, Pristy and Tach' are also good hosts with everyone! Tach', curious and confident, may not run away when new friends arrive, so let us know if your dog can't stand cats at all! Running after it happens, they manage the escape, but better prevent if you know that cohabitation is impossible, We will take precautions! The hens have their land / chicken coop / hut at the bottom of the property. Everything is well fenced but let's make sure that no dog enters the enclosure! The horses, Helushka and Violette will be in their park during your stay. Please do not feed them.
