Gîte de la Mare

At Gîte de la Mare in Lincheux-Hallivillers in the SOMME, we welcome all dogs, whether big or small, categorized or not, it doesn't matter! We have no number limit as long as you know how to manage your dogs... After that, it's still common sense, if you come with several dogs, contact us to let us know 🙂

We ourselves have 2 dogs who are part of our family, so we enjoy welcoming the doggies of our holidaymakers!

During the stay, your dogs will not be in contact with ours. (Although ours are very “cool” and tolerant).

NO supplement is requested for the stay of the 4 paws.

The doggies will be able to frolic in a closed ground of approximately 400m2. The Garden is REALLY closed, even our very runaway dog ​​never managed to escape. So don't worry about your dogs.

Since the opening of our gîte, we had chosen to welcome animals, we had a “special pets” floor laid.

Around the cottage, you can walk your dog on small paths for daily walks. A loop of 20 min and another of 50 min between forest and fields await you.

Very few roads nearby so very little risk of crossing cars.

Dogs can stay alone in the gîte if they are used to it and if they know how to stay calm.

For doggies, we provide bowls. We will install a garden hose outside the gite so you can rinse/wash your dog if you need to.

Just 10 minutes away, we offer a walk around the Montagne de Montenoy, larris with amazing wild flora (depending on the season, you may spot wild orchids).

10-15 minutes from the cottage by car, you will find a body of water if your dog likes to swim!

The veterinary clinic is only 5 minutes away in case of a problem.

The Picardy capital Amiens is 30 minutes away. Ideal for a boat trip in the heart of the floating gardens: the Hortillonnages.

Fancy the seaside? Our dog-friendly establishment is 55 minutes from Saint-Valery-sur-Somme in the Baie de Somme. (walk on the dike possible with your dog on a leash).

To the south-west of Amiens, the Gîte de la Mare welcomes you and your pet to a quiet village in the countryside.

The recent gîte consists of a bedroom on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms upstairs. Outside, you will benefit from an enclosed courtyard and a terrace.

The town of Hornoy-le-Bourg with its shops (and its veterinary clinic) is only 5 minutes away. You can discover its Hall listed as a Historic Monument. It consists of 12 spans formed by 29 posts!
