Bed and Breakfast Le Merey

We went to the Chambre d'hôte – Le Merey accompanied by a German shepherd.

It is located in Beaumont in the department of Vienne in New Aquitaine.

The room is spacious. The hosts had prepared a sofa with throws for the dog to lie on. Within the room which, by its configuration, is very cool because installed in the rock (Ideal for dogs in summer), there is a veranda with fridge, coffee maker and microwave. There is a dog-friendly pool area nearby. The swimming pool is above ground, there is no risk for the dogs to go into the water. Further up the property there is an enclosed area, ideal for letting your dog roam accompanied by the master as there are goats in an enclosure.

The owners also do table d'hôte. They have cats and a little chihuahua. Sandra (the owner) loves animals very much. She allowed us to leave the dog with us, during meals, small evening aperitifs on the terraces…, as he is not aggressive he was able to stay with the chihuahua. Really like staying with friends.

No supplement for the dog.

For the number of dogs accepted and categorized or not, ask the owner directly, I wouldn't tell.
