Welcome the Wouafer's to the dog-friendly Lou Castel campsite! I am delighted to announce that the Lou Castel campsite welcomes our dog friends with great pleasure.
Here the doggies will not only be accepted, but above all welcomed! You can come with your pets all season long, no size limit, even categorized dogs are welcome (subject to compliance with legal obligations). Please let us know when making your reservation so that we reserve the best place for them 😉
Please note that in JULY and AUGUST, the number of dogs is limited to 2 DOGS/Booking. In the off season, the reception conditions are more flexible.
On site, a cani-shower is dedicated to them and bowls are available on request at reception, as are cani-bags to collect their droppings.
Consider using it! At the bar/restaurant dogs are allowed, on request we will provide them with a bowl of refreshing water.
Nearby many walks and hikes are to be done with them, there are also many mountain bike trails.
In season, once a week we organize collective walks between humans and doggies! Do not hesitate to ask us, we can advise you on other sites in the area that also accept animals!

Simple rule on the campsite: We ask that dogs be kept on a leash. On the other hand, all around the campsite, the forest is ideal for cool morning walks! For the dog supplement: 7€/night

Camping Lou Castel is ideally located in Dordogne in the Périgord Noir, in the heart of the village of Castelnaud-la-Chapelle.
On site you will find an aquatic playground ideal for children with an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool. Also find a playground on dry land with slides, a city stadium and even a tree climbing nearby, we can say that there are activities for all tastes!
Within the campsite itself, a grocery store, a bar, a snack bar and a restaurant will be offered to you, your doggie will of course have access to them.
The campsite offers all types of rentals, mobile homes, chalets, gîtes surrounded by a large forest. 90% of pitches are in the shade.
In season, entertainment, concerts, dance evenings and even group walks (with doggies).
The Lou Castel campsite is ideal for a quiet holiday, in nature and of course with your doggies! We will be happy to welcome you and your dog to our dog-friendly campsite in the Dordogne!!

Good evening, we went via emmenetonchien.com to Castelnau-la-Chapelle in the Dordogne and we had a very good welcome at the Lou Castel campsite with our dog. Afterwards, we visited the Domme caves, rode barges and even visited the castle next door and visited the walnut museum and the garden with our dog. Thank you so much. Sylvia

This campsite is indicated as accepting more than 3 dogs, on the campsite's website there is no limit specified. After talking to them on the phone, I was told that they only take a maximum of 2 dogs in July and August… pay attention to your holiday dates if you have more than 2 dogs.
