Camping le Moulin de David

Dogs are happily welcomed in our family campsite, Le Moulin de David, rated 4 stars and labeled Camping Qualité and Qualité Tourisme, in Dordogne in the beautiful region of Périgord in Aquitaine.

You can come accompanied by your pet dog (up to 2) or cat.

Around the campsite you will find paths and large spaces that will allow him to play and stretch his legs!

Dogs will also be able to swim and cool off in the Soulauret river with direct access from the campsite exit.

In the campsite your dog must move around on a leash (even if he is very nice or very small 😉) and must not be left alone on your pitch or in your rental.

Although we love animals, for reasons of hygiene or safety, some places are only reserved for 2 paws, such as the swimming pool, the lakeside with play area and slides as well as the shop.

The family campsite Le Moulin de David in Gaugeac is located in the very south of Périgord in the region called Pays des Bastides et des Cités Médiévales (formerly called Périgord Pourpre).

This 4-star campsite in Dordogne extends over 16ha, in the heart of beautiful hilly nature among trees, far from main roads.

Crossed by a stream, the campsite benefits from its beneficial freshness on summer days.

You will have the choice for your stay between almost 90 pitches for tents or caravans and 70 accommodations such as mobile homes, canvas bungalows, cabins or lodges with or without sanitary facilities.

Concerning the pleasures of water🌊, at the Moulin de David campsite in New Aquitaine, you can alternate between swimming pool and natural swimming.

The large 200m² swimming pool and paddling pool are located in a splendid setting, facing south, at the foot of the hillside planted with oak trees, perfectly integrated into the landscape. Its vast beaches are equipped with numerous deckchairs.

The lake is a natural swimming area of ​​600m², without any product added to this water coming from the stream crossing the campsite. It is emptied and completely cleaned every Saturday (day this place is closed).

This is the campsite's water play area, allowing you to maintain a certain calm around the swimming pool 😉

With a maximum depth of 1,40m it is accessible to all. The eastern end of the swimming area, where the water is shallow, is reserved for children. They can also play in the sandbox on the beach.

You can have fun with your family thanks to its giant trampoline (more than 5m in diameter), its giant double-lane slide (new for 2023) as well as its slide reserved for the little ones.

Activities are also organized there by the Moulin de David campsite team, such as water polo and other water games.

Finally, the naturalness is also present around the swimming pool which are grassed.

In high season rentals at the campsite are from Saturday to Saturday, Sunday to Sunday or Wednesday to Wednesday.
