We spent a week at the Clape campsite, with our three dogs. We had a quiet location, with a trash can nearby, a poop bag dispenser (filled), and a place to wash our dogs if necessary. Unlike many campsites, the number of our dogs did not pose a problem and the campsite is well equipped for our 4-legged companions.
We also had access to sanitary facilities that were cleaned every day. All my sympathy to the people responsible for cleaning up after the disgusting campers who don't know how to flush a toilet or use the brush provided.. (Nor the trash cans, when you see what is left in the showers).
The location of the campsite is ideal. Friendly staff, with a lot of patience.
The only less nice detail was the lack of activities available. But with the current situation, it's understandable.
Others said that the campsite was not worth its 4*, I don't have anything to compare it to affirm or deny that, but we had a superb week. And for a classic campsite, the dog welcome is perfect.

A successful stay for us at the Clape campsite. Our Nestlé was given his little welcome kit and we could rinse him with the water jet available when he returned from the beach. The cape is ultimately more dog-friendly than we would have imagined! It was a lovely stay!

I came to spend 3 days with my dog in view of the excellent service supposedly offered. In the end none of that! No welcome bags, nothing to collect droppings and above all no dog shower built!! supposedly planned for 2024, when it was supposed to already exist... and very few shadows on the squares, in short very disappointed to have traveled 1000km for this. I think that the camper's welcome is not like that offered to advertise….. just a campsite that accepts dogs, really nothing more!
