Campsite La Cailletiere

Our animal friends are welcome at La Cailletière campsite. The campsite has a wood of more than 1 hectare where in low season you can leave your dog free to walk there under supervision.

The wood is partially in the shade and no car has access to it: you have a real space in the middle of nature dedicated to you and your doggie. In high season, we kindly ask you to keep it on a leash for everyone's peace of mind, including within the campsite.

We welcome categorized dogs, we just ask to put a muzzle on them.

In the immediate vicinity of the campsite, you have a walking area for outings with your dog: a shady 5km forest hiking loop that goes around the campsite; a sporting course to do with your dog for the more athletic; a sea trip in high season before 9 a.m. and after 19 p.m., in low season: all day!

When you return from the walk or in case of strong heat, you can rinse your dog's paws, because we have provided you with a garden hose on the campsite.

Your dog will, of course, be accepted in our restaurant, both inside and on the terrace, and he will also have his own bowl of water. Only the toilets and the swimming pool are not allowed to him.

Insofar as your dog is respectful of the place, you have the possibility of leaving it for a few hours in the mobile home or on the terrace (attached) to it.

Otherwise, we offer you the contact of a pet sitting service which will take care of your dog during your excursion: it will take care of walking it or taking it for a run in the forest. Your dog should be happy!

In case of emergency, we have a veterinarian whom we know well, 500m from the campsite.

We also provide you with waste bags, it is natural that we ask you to pick up the waste of your doggie.

La Cailletière campsite in the center of the island of Oléron, welcomes you in a wooded setting 4km from the swimming beaches, and 800m from the town center of Dolus d'Oléron.
