La Meije glacier cable car

We were able to take our dog Heiko, a border collie, with us to the cabins of the Glacier de la Meije cable car in the French Alps to experience the panorama at the top and visit the ice cave.

The cable car ride is chargeable for dogs. For a sum of 10 € for a 30 min journey. The dog was fairly well received, the website shows an obligation to muzzle but we did not need it on site. Of course he must be kept on a leash.

On arrival, you can enjoy the panorama, plan to go down by cable car or take the opportunity to go for a nice hike with your companion or even visit the ice cave which is also authorized for dogs on a leash.

As a bonus you can also visit the ice cave and eat in a good mountain restaurant!
