Chamrousse station

:

your dog is welcome here

I went to the Chamrousse ski resort in Isère with my dog Hector, a jack russell!
You should know that in the Chamrousse resort, shuttles are theoretically prohibited for dogs, but there may be a small tolerance for small dogs. You can try and depending on the driver, you will have more or less success. Following incidents with dogs, the shuttles have become inaccessible to dogs since winter 2020.

The cable car is accessible to dogs only in summer. Indeed, in winter, the dogs of the trackers use the gondola and they must not be disturbed in their work by other doggies.

On the program for this stay in Chamrousse: Dog-friendly walks and hikes, cani-snowshoeing, and skiing for me...

Dogs on a leash have access to the Chamrousse 1750 snowshoe trail, they can also discover Lac Achard. They will also be able to access all the connecting paths between the poles of the Chamrousse resort. Chamrousse 1750/Roche Béranger, Chamrousse 1600/Plateau de l'Arselle or Chamrousse 1650/Recoin.

The basic rule to know is that dogs are forbidden on all places where they could meet working dogs of the resort: on the slopes of the alpine ski area, on the gondolas (in particular the gondola of the Cross in Chamrousse 1650 ) and ski lifts, on the Nordic area or on the Arselle plateau because the sled dogs work, walks with our dogs are therefore prohibited there...

On the other hand, in summer everything is simpler, the gondola of the Croix de Chamrousse 1650 for example is accessible to dogs kept on a leash because doggies will not come across a working dog.
In summer, the entire mountain area is also accessible to dogs.

Otherwise, apart from that, you can take a lot of walks in Chamrousse with your dog, the gallery at Roche Béranger is accessible to them, the tourist office too. It's a rather dog-friendly resort, of course some places are inaccessible to them, but like everywhere.

The "hot stone" restaurant also accepts dogs, but as there are many people in the evening, this small restaurant is not necessarily suitable for dogs (at least not for large dogs)
