The rose path in Groffliers

:

your dog is welcome here

A new walking path has been open since the end of March 2019 in Groffliers. The rose path is easily accessible thanks to a large car park (free) rue Delesalle opposite the Bec de Parroquet campsite. The path goes deep into the forest massif. It is lined with palisades and the ground is gravel. Follow Me and Snoopy the labradors appreciated the ease of accessing the magnificent wooden belvedere which provides an unobstructed view of the bay of Authie, towards Berck-sur-Mer on one side and Fort-Mahon beach on the other side. The path continues in the forest, it allows to go to Basse rue and to take again the path of the vérotiers, or it sinks in the bay of Authie to reach directly the large spaces of sand and lilac of the sea ( blooming July), to be picked with moderation and with scissors obligatory! We liked: the ease of access, the landscape, PMR access, the quality of the brand new path We liked less: the absence of benches and garbage cans. But there are beams to land at the gazebo. Dogs must be tethered.
