The Marsh of Contes

:

your dog is welcome here

Follow Me and Mellow, my chocolate Labradors, were able to take advantage of three walking routes in the marshes and ponds of Contes (protected natural site). On the three trails (pike trail, stork trail and wet meadow trail) bordering fishing ponds, dogs must be tethered. We enjoyed the shaded areas, the signs presenting the site, the old bogs, the fauna and flora throughout the walk, and we especially enjoyed, as Labradors, watching the ducks and all the other birds. ... Courses of 1,5 km to 4,5 km for quiet walks. Long pants required, because of the weeds. Several small wooden bridges throughout the circuit. We meet fishermen, sometimes come with their dogs. Parking at the entrance on the side of the road (approximately 6 car spaces on hard ground). We regret: that the small wooden house (at the entrance to the site) which also serves as a toilet has been vandalized.
