Dogs are welcome for a walk around the Lac de la Cavayère, in Carcassonne. The beaches are forbidden to dogs. If you want to swim in the lake with your dog, or simply let him swim, I invite you to contact the tourist office. The walk around the lake is very pleasant and there are many shady spots thanks to the vegetation.

There is also a small snack where you can eat a panini or have a drink to refresh yourself. Dogs are accepted here.
