Charlemagne Waterfall

A short walk to do with your dog near Gerardmer, to discover a nice little waterfall: the Charlemagne waterfall in Xonrupt-Longemer in the Vosges department. 

Departing from the lake of Retournemer on the hiking car park. At the level of the car park you have a panel with all the possible hikes.

That of the waterfalls is 3 kilometers long and you have the waterfall of Charlemagne and that of Retournemer.

You can go there by car or on foot, you have a place along the road. We went there in winter and it was quite hard to access, especially with a dog on a leash, lots of ice and sleet.
