Jacques heart basin – Montpellier

In Montpellier with your dog, don't hesitate to take a short detour to the Bassin Jacques Cœur in the city center in the Port Marianne district!

This basin is a large artificial basin in the heart of the city. On Sunday mornings, many locals come to walk their dogs around the basin. My dog ​​loves watching ducks, he never takes his eyes off them. He can watch them for hours without getting bored! You can walk around the basin, your dog will be able to discover lots of new smells! Around the pool, we also like to play in the lawn areas with other cani-potos 🙂

For a question of security, this space being located in the city center, it is safer to keep your dog on a leash 😉

For the practical side, the basin is easily accessible by tram from all over the city (tram 1, "port Marianne" stop). Around the Jacques Coeur basin, there are many small bars and restaurants where we like to go for a drink after our walk!
