Galamus Gorge

:

your dog is welcome here

Oulanka, my one-year-old Finn from Lapland, accompanied me during my holidays in the Eastern Pyrenees.

With the heat wave I was looking to cool off to avoid heat stroke in the dog and I found the Gorges du Galamus! Dogs are accepted throughout the upstream part of the Gorges (where there is canyoning) with or without a leash. Cleanliness and respect for others are the responsibility of each master... No trash cans or waste bags available, so masters must be careful and plan ahead!

The ride can be done in both directions (in the direction of or against the current of the water). I was thus able to do some aquatic hiking with my dog and canyoning, she was able to climb the walls like an ibex without any problem in freedom (never leave far if other holidaymakers were afraid of dogs when they met us). Ideal spot to take a break with your dog, cool off and share new experiences with your dog!

Not far away, there is a small village nearby, Cubieres sur Cinoble where we were able to taste a homemade sheep's milk ice cream at "Oh Del'Ice". In addition, this craftsman accepts dogs without worry! They even bring a bowl of water and are sincerely interested in the well-being of the dog, great day!
