Port-Lauragais area – A61

The dog-friendly motorway service area of ​​Port Lauragais has everything to seduce: it is accessible in both directions of the motorway, located between Toulouse and Carcassonne. We stopped with Orpheus, our boxer, looking for a place in the shade of the trees, we saw this park, super well located, half shade half sun, on the edge of the Canal du Midi. After stretching our paws, we opened the park gate (quite big by the way) and wow… full of smells, agility games, no leash, Orpheus didn't know where to give truffles. Then we were able to walk a little along the Canal du Midi on a leash because there were a few people and she is not a very good swimmer…. there are enough terminals with waste bag dispensers and garbage cans, and that day, the dispensers were well stocked! We saw a few boats moored, this must also be a stopover for boaters.
