The Gallic Village – The Archéosite

The Gallic village of Rieux volvestre or the archeosite in Haute-Garonne in Occitanie welcomes the whole family! dog included!

This village is a faithful replica of life before. Many panels allow you to discover this period. Recently, the village has also created an application for even more interaction with visitors.

The visit is really rich and interesting for young and old alike! Many artisan actors faithfully reproduce the gestures and know-how of yesteryear. The village also organizes many events to captivate its public! We really loved this getaway to the Gallic village and I recommend it! Our two dogs were made very welcome! Dogs must be kept on a leash on site 😉
