Visit of the Château de Biron

:

your dog is welcome here

Biron Castle is a beautiful building located on a promontory above the village of Biron in the Dordogne. The castle complex is made up of several buildings including a XNUMXth century keep, a XNUMXth century chapel and XNUMXth-XNUMXth century dwellings. It was used as a filming location for the "Capitan" and the "Daughter of d'Artagnan" in particular and regularly hosts contemporary art exhibitions. We visited it with our dog Capsule (Brittany Spaniel cross) without any problem: reception without particular attention but benevolent. The visit is free and the only restrictions (apart from questions of hygiene and cleanliness) are keeping on a leash and the obligation - in a single room - to carry the dog due to a parquet floor to be protected (humans must use scooters there!) ... but it is also possible not to visit this room if your companion is too heavy!

Musher and Sophie: "If you want more information on visiting a place with your dog, we invite you to read the article: Visiting a tourist site with your dog".
