The Castle of Enigmas - Château d'Usson
:your dog is welcome here
The site is open from April to November. It accepts dogs provided they are kept on a leash.
With my family and Iliade (our Australian Shepherd), we went one afternoon to Pons at the Château des énigmes. It is a game course of around 3 hours where at the entrance we are given a questionnaire which will allow us to solve an enigma through a story throughout the course with stagings.
So here we are embarked on the story of the pirate Jack Rackham. We had to pull up a basket hidden in the water using a crank, pass in front of skeletons locked in cages, look through binoculars, cross a small farm (chickens, goats)... We learned pirate expressions. We had to cross a group of crocodiles (false ones, I assure you), we went through basements, we visited rooms in the castle and we also had to solve a rebus.
In short, a real adventure and discoveries to solve the final enigma thanks to the answers found. We had a great time and Iliade also enjoyed it!
To make it more pleasant for your dog, plan a lanyard.
