Citadel of Blaye

The Blaye citadel is a magnificent citadel that covers more than 38 hectares and overlooks the Gironde estuary. It is located in the commune of Blaye. 
The regulations are simple; dogs have access to the entire site without restrictions. 
You can explore the citadel with several dogs, and category dogs must be muzzled. 

We enjoyed a pleasant stroll around the Vauban Citadel of Blaye, with a beautiful view from the ramparts. The narrow streets are charming and lively, lined with artisan shops. You can also enjoy some delicious ice cream there. Dogs are welcome in the Blaye Citadel, but only small dogs that can be carried are permitted on the guided tour.
