Azeville Battery: your dog is welcome here
The Azeville battery is a heritage site dating from the Second World War. Composed of 4 bunkers and 300 meters of underground, the visit is done with an audio guide almost all year round.
We had seen at the tourist office that this site accepted dogs. What a nice surprise !!
Before even entering the reception building, bowls of water for the dogs are in front of the door. The welcome is very friendly, poop bags are offered. Dogs must stay on a leash. The place is very quiet and respectful.
We went there in May and a lot of swallows are present, be careful if your dog likes birds (the case of ours), this can annoy him in the underground 😉
