Walk from the white waterfall to the green waterfall: your dog is welcome here
We took a walk between the White Waterfall and the Green Waterfall in the Drôme department. It's a superb 13km walk around Mont Baret, which allows you to see the floating houses of Pont-en-Royans. I recommend doing this walk with your dog when it's not too hot, as part of the trail is in the shade.
During this walk with your dog, there's the option of taking a break for a swim in the Vernaison river. This walk is suitable for dogs in good health as there is a 540m elevation gain.
A drinking water fountain is available near the end of the hike at the Col de Mezelier. Dogs must be kept on a leash as the area is protected. There is one section that can be a bit dangerous as it involves crossing four consecutive tunnels, some of which carry cars.
I highly recommend this walk! It was a great activity to do with my dog 🙂
