It's really nice and open all year round.
It was founded on December 10, 1129, looted and burned in 1358 during the Great Jacquerie and bombed by the French in 1915 because the Germans occupied it.
It was 102 m long, 24 m wide and 16 m high. Today only the remains of the choir punctuated by superb arcades erected in the open air remain.
It's a place steeped in history where you can have a blast taking some amazing photos. I don't know if dogs are allowed everywhere, but they are in the "ruins" area at least.
