The Bay of Somme Railway

The Chemin de Fer de la Baie de Somme graciously welcomes dogs on board the train so that they can enjoy a lovely train ride with their families to discover the Bay of Somme.

For the safety of other passengers and our staff, dogs must be kept on a short leash and lying under the seats so as not to obstruct movement in the cars.

1st class carriages are not accessible to our four-legged friends. (Velvet seats)

2nd category dogs are also welcome provided they wear a muzzle. And 1st category doggies will unfortunately not be able to enjoy the visit.

You can enjoy this tour with 1 or 2 dogs whatever their size so don’t hesitate to bring them on board 😉

The Chemin de Fer de la Baie de Somme offers a trip on the old Bains de Mer Network, aboard historic trains.
The network connects Le Crotoy, Noyelles-sur-Mer, Saint-Valery-sur-Somme and Cayeux-sur-Mer.
Travel time depending on the route selected: 1 to 2 hours.

Journey time: 1 hour each way. Adult: €18.90, Youth (4-16 years): €13.00, free for children under 4 years and free for animals. "Les Bas-champs" route (St Valery sur Somme < > Cayeux sur mer) Journey time: 35 minutes each way Adult: €12.80, Youth from 4 to 16 years: €9.00, free for children under 4 years and free for animals. "The Open Sea" route (Le Crotoy < > Cayeux-sur-mer) Journey time excluding connection time at St Valery: 1h35 one way, 1h35 return Adult: €25.00, Young person from 4 to 16 years: €17.50, free for children under 4 years and free for animals.
