Ondres Beach: your dog is welcome here
I'm sharing a great dog-friendly address with you today, Wouafer's. It's the dog-friendly beach in Ondres in the Landes region.
The beach includes a section reserved for people without dogs, and on each side, once past the demarcation signs, the lifeguards came to see us immediately to inform us; they were very kind and precise.
From June 14th to September 15th, dogs are allowed on leashes, outside of supervised areas and hours. The rest of the year, they are allowed everywhere, but only on leashes!
This beach is also very long and wide, allowing us to go about our business without any problems. A very pleasant day at Ondres Beach!

One of the only dog-friendly beaches on the Basque coast.
Beautiful and large beach with many dogs!
We went there today with our golden retriever.
You have to turn right when arriving at the beach. The staff on site are friendly and will guide you if necessary.
The beach remains immense, however the waves are strong our little one did not dare to swim.
We are in Bidart on the campsite, but dogs are not allowed anywhere on the beach. I came across this site via Google and indeed, on Ondres beach, dogs are tolerated. At the entrance, well to the right. nice and calm and there are other dogs.
