Chateauneuf Vibrac canoeing and kayaking: your dog is welcome here

With Iliade, we tried canoeing with a friend. You can choose from several durations, each granting access to different routes. For us, it was a half-day, or a maximum of 5 hours, including a picnic break where the instructor showed us on the map where there were picnic tables and a way to get back into the canoe. We stopped several times in shallow areas where we could stand to cool off. Dogs are allowed in the canoes, and there's a shuttle service to take you back to the end of the route or to the starting point, depending on the route chosen. There's no information provided for dogs of a certain breed, so it's best to call ahead to find out if they're allowed. On our route, we encountered four small rapids (see the photo at the bottom left of the main picture). Iliade was calm during the small rapids; they're gentle, but I preferred to hold her by the handle of her harness for safety.
