Canoe Somme

Canoeing with your dog: a fantastic activity! I canoed down part of the Somme River with my dog: the Somme flows through the department and empties into the Bay of Somme! I discovered a section of the river I didn't know and I loved it. The trip takes 1 hour and 30 minutes from Picquigny to Hangest-sur-Somme. Please note, for safety reasons, a minimum of two adults is required.
Starting from the Picquigny nautical base, by canoe to an arrival a few kilometers further downstream, the return is by vehicle.
Johann, the canoe rental company, also offers trips further upstream for longer canoe journeys or on a different waterway. These routes are always accessible with a dog, of course.
