Hotel de France: your dog is welcome here
I came to Le Blanc for a dog show. I had my three dogs with me (a Cane Corso, a German Shepherd, and a terrier; only the Cane Corso was competing), and I had a hard time finding a nearby hotel that would accept them. I discovered the Hôtel de France, just 15 minutes from Le Blanc, in Saint-Savin. It was the only one that allowed three dogs. I managed to book online. We were all very well received. The receptionist was friendly with my dogs. My room was very clean and quite spacious, and the hotel itself was nice. There were no specific rules or restrictions, and I didn't receive any comments. My dogs walked around the hotel on leashes at my side the first day, and then off-leash after that. I left them in the room during breakfast because I knew they wouldn't bark, but there's a terrace overlooking a large courtyard, and other guests were having breakfast there with their dogs, lying under the table. I'll know for next time. I paid €54 for my room and €5 per pet. A good place, dog-friendly enough for me to return.
