Domaine du Châtelard: your dog is welcome here
We had a lovely time at Domaine du Châtelard, a dog-friendly hotel in harmony with nature in Dirac (16), the hotel is also a refuge for animals (ponies, alpacas, dogs, cats…).
Our dog was allowed in our room and in the restaurant; in fact, he was allowed everywhere! We were able to walk around the lake and even go rowing with him. He was so well-behaved, he even stayed by the pool while the children were swimming.
The owners are lovely and love animals. Therefore, there are no particular restrictions for booking; the hotel accepts dogs of all sizes, and even multiple dogs per booking.
I asked at reception if we could bring 3 dogs and there was no problem at all!
A supplement will still be applied for dogs: €15/night/dog. Please note that the rate decreases depending on the number of nights stayed.
