Cabins on stilts, Camping des Gaves

Le Gaves campsite at Laruns in the Atlantic Pyrenees welcomes you to its unusual accommodation on the river bank with your(s) dog(S).

Our nature campsite can accommodate you with 1 or 2 dogs under 45kgs (approximately).

The doggies will have access to the river for swimming and playing.
We can also help you with dog bags if necessary.

Here we love dogs, our unusual accommodation awaits them for a vacation in the Pyrenees.

In the campsite, if your dog is calm and used to it, you can leave him alone during your short absences. The idea being that he does not disturb the campers present on the campsite.

For the safety and comfort of all our holidaymakers, please keep your dog on a leash inside the campsite, and pick up its droppings if necessary 🙂 When you arrive, make sure you travel with an up-to-date vaccination record.

On the program for your vacation with your dog:
– Hikes on the GR10, 
– Swimming in the river, 
– Waterfalls, 

For dogs, a supplement of between €3 and €5/night is to be expected.

Camping des Gaves welcomes you all year round en Ossau Valley, in a wooded setting near the ski resorts of Gourette and Artouste and the thermal spas of Eaux Bonnes and Eaux Chaudes.

The campsite has 2 heated swimming pools.
