If you're dreaming of greenery and nature for your next weekend or holiday , head to the Ardennes , to Chuffilly-Roche (08), to the Aux Sabots de Vent educational equestrian farm 🐎! We offer farm camping and unusual accommodations in an exceptional setting, surrounded by around twenty equines and many other animals : pygmy goats, rabbits, cats, ducks, chickens, bats and much more 🐇!
For sleeping , you will have a choice:
- 🏕️locations For tents, caravans and motorhomes with electricity on the former site of the medieval castle
- 👩🌾overnight stays "in the straw"!
- 😍The Ardennes iglooAn unusual, hand-built accommodation using hemp, lime, sand, and water (2 bedrooms with double beds; please note, there are no bathrooms inside, but they are 50m away) for 4 people.
- 🌽The Voyelles Farm Cottage (in the old village school) for 4 people with two bedrooms and their own private bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a wood-burning stove, TV and even high-speed fiber optic internet
- 🐑Sensation Farm Cottage (in the old sheepfold) for 9 people with three bedrooms and their private bathroom, a fitted kitchen, a large 50 m² living room and still the wood stove, TV and fibre.
As for activities , you can of course go horseback riding 🐴 You will be supervised by a passionate farmer for the discipline of your choice: initiation, improvement, hikes, caravan… And don’t forget your fishing rod 🎣 : the site has two large ponds (no kill).

- 🛶Canoeing down the Aisne River (2 minutes from the farm)Enjoy the lovely spots near Asfeld, Château-Porcien and Rethel, and the meanders around Vouziers! Good news: Sud Ardennes Canoë offers several routes on the river with your dog on board.
- 🚲South Ardennes Green Way (10 minutes from the farm)This safe 110 km (!) route runs alongside the Ardennes canal. You can travel it by bike or on foot with your dog.
- 💦Lake Bairon (20 min by car)While dogs are not allowed on the beach, the rest of the site is accessible to you (on a leash). Perfect for a stroll along the waterfront.
- 👣Hiking on the Rimbaud trail: this lovely country walk takes you in the footsteps of Rimbaud through the orchards and the Ardennes countryside.
- 📌Attigny (5 min by car): discover the beautiful city of Charlemagne and the marked route of the same name through the city.
- 🏰Sedan (50 min by car)Classified as a city of art and history, it is the castle and the adjacent streets that will undoubtedly seduce you!
