Hello Woufers, what if you went to the Landes I'll let you discover this rental and my little finger tells me that you should like it.
Located between the Landes forest and beaches, The House of Animal Passion Welcomes you year-round for dog-friendly holidays near Mimizan. On site, you can stay in one of three accommodations, as well as enjoy numerous benefits: dog training, grooming, sports with your dogs, dog spa …you’ve come to the right place!
The House of Animal Passion offers 3 accommodations dedicated to humans AND animals. On site, everything is designed so that they spend a perfect vacation with you. Bowls and mats will be available in the rentals, the large plot is fully fenced and they can even stay there alone.
For beach returns you will have access to the cani-shower for rinsing; a SPA is dedicated to dogs (A little relaxation doesn't hurt). A list of all the dog-friendly activities and places will be given to you upon your arrival. We also offer you a small reception box (canine travel box). On request, we can provide you with a large dog cage if necessary.
In Mimizan, 3 beaches where dogs are allowed are less than 15 minutes from the house and just behind the rentals the large pine forest is available for beautiful walks.
The particularity of La Maison de Passion Animale is that it offers canine training and interventions of several types:
Dog grooming and massage training
education training
Water sports training (paddle)
Land sports training (canicross, caniVTT)
Osteopathy and canine behaviorist
Valérie, the owner, is a groomer since 1985 & canine masseuse since 2008.
With her, professionals from the animal world or well-being work on the house.
*For any request for training or other, it will be necessary to notify at the time of the reservation, for a question of organization.
For a grooming or massage session for your doggie, it can be done without worry, Valérie is on site with her grooming salon.
A day of vacation is planned without him, no problem, a free dog boarding for residents of the house, walks and games guaranteed throughout the day!
La Maison de Passion Animale also offers full-board weekend formulas (cocooning weekend, sports, education, etc.)
The house welcomes up to 3 dogs and cats per rental, to be specified when booking of course.
Categorized dogs are welcomed without concern in the same way as other dogs.

And now, a little information for you animal lovers! Located 2 minutes from Lake Aureilhan and 15 minutes from the beaches of Mimizan, La Maison de Passion Animale offers two air-conditioned rentals, open year-round. There are two rental options available.
Added to this, you will have at your disposal a shared garden, with a SPA and an above-ground swimming pool.
Each of the 2 rentals has its own small enclosed garden of approximately 80m2. Each garden has a gas bbq and garden furniture.
- The T4 type accommodation is located on the upper floor and has 3 bedrooms and a dog-room (with a small garden of 80m2).
- A one-bedroom apartment (T1) is also available for rent on the ground floor (with a small garden of 80m2)..
The space is completely fenced, you will have your garden furniture and a barbecue for your summer evenings. On site you will also find a swimming pool and a SPA for humans this time!
Secure parking is available to you, be careful to drive in step, our friends are frolicking all over the day 😉
At the front of the house you will have access to the famous Landes cycle path and at the back of the house a large pine forest for great walks.
The Aureilhan lake is 2 min from the house, and that of Gastes 15 min (there is a great spot for paddle). 3 beaches where dogs are allowed are less than 15min away, and the town of Mimizan and its shops are 5min away by car.
A cycle path is 100 meters from the house. On site, you can rent bikes, paddles and canoes with vests and trailers for dogs.
Need to go away for a while? No worries, dogs can stay in the accommodation or even outside on the fenced grounds. If it's for the day? No worries either, the house offers free boarding for residents.

I thank Valérie from the bottom of my heart for her welcome. 2 years in a row that we go as a family, it's a joy to see them again with Christian. I recommend lots of activities, we don't get bored, thank you for everything.
Very warm welcome from Valérie and her brother, immaculate accommodation, fenced, air-conditioned and well located (quiet but not far from a lake and a pine forest, a treat for humans and doggies!
We stayed there with our 2 goldinettes that Valérie groomed before our departure!
In addition, she will guide you for ideas for walks, restaurants, etc. Dogs are welcome in the Landes, even on the beaches (Especier and Lake Arjuzanx), and it's nice to see! Thank you again for your welcome as well as for the welcome drink and the farewell meal! In addition, a swimming pool and a jacuzzi await you, as well as a pool for the doggies!

Quiet and clean accommodation, lots of walks to do near the cottage (lakes, forests). Very close to a supermarket and close to Mimizan. Dogs are welcome everywhere (or almost) in the Landes and that's really nice! We were even told to take the leash off on the (very pretty) beach at Especier!
Valérie invited us to a welcome drink and a meal just before our departure! I recommend this host who will give you good tips for walks and restaurants!

Excellent value for money, accommodation, garden, top air conditioning and close to the lake and the ocean for our little ones.
A great place in every way, the welcome was top notch for both us and our little ones. There were 3 of us and 3 dogs and we had a great stay, everything is designed for dogs.
There are several activities to do with dogs around the accommodation. Dogs are welcome almost everywhere in Mimizan and Aureilhan. Great!
We were also able to leave the dogs safely in the garden to do activities without them, a super nice owner and available to answer questions and needs.
I recommend with eyes closed!
We recommend this accommodation 100%, a real little paradise where life is good, both for us and for our 4-legged companions – our golden retriever Udji (19 months) and our Labrador Montana (9 years) has 3 legs (disabled).
Everything is designed and adapted for the well-being of dogs, which gives full meaning to the name of the advertisement "MAISON DE LA PASSION ANIMAL"
At Valérie's, the place of the animal is obvious: grooming, massages, varied activities... Nothing is left to chance for their comfort.
In terms of accommodation, our one-bedroom rental was impeccable: clean, well-equipped, air-conditioned, with a private garden and a closed parking space – excellent value for money!
The common areas are just as exceptional: large garden, veranda, jacuzzi, 2 swimming pools (one for humans, the other for dogs) and even a super practical dog shower for rinsing the dogs after a swim or a walk.
Finally, a huge thank you to Valérie and her brother Christian, very kind hosts, discreet but always available, with a rare kindness towards us... and especially towards our dogs.
