The Le Clos des Hirondelles gîte is ideally located in heart of Touraine and Gates of Sologne is the ideal place for a holiday with your dog(s) in the Centre Val de Loire region in Thenay in Loir et Cher (41).
We welcome your / your companion(s) of all sizesWithout no limit on their number as long as everything goes well in the cottage.
Category dogs are also accepted because we trust their masters.
The Le Clos des Hirondelles gîte will meet all of your companions' expectations: the most energetic will find happiness in exploring the surrounding fields and vineyards, the calmer will be happy to share with their master a cocooning accommodation with a private and fenced garden.
We do not apply any additional charges for your doggies' stay.
We provide your dog(s), bowls, a welcome surprise as well as poop bags to leave the garden as clean as when you arrived😉.
We accept that dogs can climb on the sofa on one condition: the blanket provided to them is installed so as not to damage it.
Dark space, on the other hand, is only authorized for humans.
During periods of high heat, Dogs will have their own pool and shower will be available to rinse them when returning from walks and swimming in the ponds.
For places that unfortunately do not accept dogs, we provide you with a possibility of keeping / monitoring / walking your companion(s).
There are many activities to share with your dog in the surrounding area; many hiking trails pedestrians through fields, vineyards, forests ; bike / mountain bike ; bathing water points which will delight your furry friend(s), some of which are accessible on foot from our home; walks along the Cher, cultural visits including the unmissable Chenonceau Castle ; etc….

The Gîte Le Clos des Hirondelles is a pretty house for 1 to 8 people close to Loire Valley castles and Beauval Zoo.
Our haven of peace is composed of a laundry room, a shower room, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with connected TV and 3 bedrooms all equipped with quality bedding.
You will also enjoy a private, fenced garden and fully equipped: dining area with outdoor kitchen and barbecue and relaxation area with deckchairs.
You can benefit from a private parking space within the gîte, additional vehicles can park in the church square a few meters from the gîte for free.
The Le Clos des Hirondelles gîte is in a quiet environment where you will find everything you need: bakery, butcher, grocery store, restaurant, etc.

From 110 euros per night (excluding tourist tax) depending on the period and the number of people.And in addition:
You can do many activities there, both cultural and sporting: ideal for combining rest, relaxation, activities and discovery of regional heritage.
- Visit castles, troglodyte villages, wine estates, etc.

We had a lovely, peaceful stay with our children, close to small shops and plenty of places to visit (Loire Valley castles, Beauval Zoo, Bourré and its troglodyte dwellings, etc.). The cottage was functional and the garden was well enclosed, with a BBQ. Thank you to Nicolas and Delphine for their warm welcome and helpfulness!
We had a wonderful stay with our 3 dogs. Village shops are a 2-minute walk away and the main tourist attractions are less than 30 minutes away by car. Thanks to Delphine for her warm welcome!
Rental where nothing is missing. I recommend this very clean and well-located accommodation. Close to small shops. Very kind owner, we were very well received, us and our 3 doggies.
We had a great weekend in this accommodation: everything was perfect! The small shops nearby (bakery, butcher, grocery store) are very convenient, and the surrounding landscapes are magnificent. Beauval Zoo is only 30 minutes away, which is a real plus. The dog-friendly location is also a great plus. Thank you for the little touches that made our stay even more enjoyable!
