Everything is planned so that your dog(s), cats🐱, rabbits🐰, birds🕊️, ferrets🐁, finally your favorite companion, spends a wonderful vacation in your company. Moreover, I invite you to browse our facebook page flooded with photos of doggies who came on vacation to the gîte!
The cottage can accommodate 3 to 4 dogs in summer in high season (on request). On the other hand, in low season, no limit on the number of dogs, ALL are welcome, big, small, hairy, categorized or not...!
The carefully fenced garden, from the L'Abri-Côtier lodge has a small dog pool, pet toys, water point to rinse your dog after a walk on the nearby Cap Cabourg beach allows dogs all year round.
Your pet is welcome everywhere in the cottage, you will find blankets, cozy baskets and bowls, toys, in short, everything for his comfort.
In addition, I have negotiated for you discounts at certain retailers and museums dog-friendly city!
A top-notch veterinarian nearby, easily accessible walking areas and many dog-friendly activities that your host Fabienne will be happy to point out to you. She has also prepared a whole file for you of everything you can do with your dog, from the dog-friendly restaurant to the dog-friendly museum 😉!

Gîte L’Abri-Côtier is a delightful cottage for 4 people of 38m² in Cabourg in a quiet residence, while being close to shops and many activities to discover for your holidays in Calvados in Normandy.
Everything is accessible on foot from the rental.
We have everything planned to make your stay simple : logbook, list of activities, hikes, museums, and places.
Everything is done to make you feel at home, with your animals, in this cozy and very well-equipped cottage.
On the ground floor, a living room with a very well-equipped kitchen for cooking delicious meals and a lounge area (with convertible sofa and TV) for relaxing, opens onto the south-facing terrace. The bathroom and toilets are also on the ground floor.
Upstairs you will find two pretty cozy bedrooms, one with a 140×200 bed and the other with two 90×190 single beds. A safety gate for babies is provided.
The gîte's private garden is completely enclosed, for your peace of mind and the safety of your pets, deckchairs and parasols await you for lovely naps! A barbecue and garden furniture complete the picture and promise great barbecue evenings!
In the Gîte L'Abri-Côtier residence, you can have a private and heated outdoor swimming pool in season (open from mid-June to mid-September), tennis lessons and a pétanque court, a free parking space.
You are ideally located opposite the racecourse🏇, 5 minutes from the beach allowed for dogs all year round,🏖️ and next to the Golf⛳.
The icing on the cake is that your host Fabienne will prepare a program of activities, shows and festivities for you, as well as plenty of good addresses and tips (often Dogfriendly🐶), which you can enjoy during your vacation in Cabourg... and there's plenty to do in all seasons!
Finally, to ensure your vacation remains a vacation, end-of-stay cleaning is included in the rental and WIFI is available free of charge 🌞

A wonderful week in the Cabourg sunshine with my two little ones, Unik and Teddy.
The accommodation is very clean and very functional. The bedding is very comfortable.
Everything was provided for the comfort of my two small dogs, bowls of all sizes, comfortable cushions.
A very pleasant terrace on the garden level to enjoy the generous rays of sunshine this week in April.
Walks possible near the cottage with my little ones in a green environment and above all a superb beach where they were able to run and put their paws in the water.
Cabourg is a superb and very lively town.
We will return in August to enjoy the horse racing at the racecourse just opposite the cottage.

Hello, so our stay in your magnificent cottage, well-appointed, well-equipped where everything is done to make us feel welcome, both for us and for our little ones, is coming to an end. Pure happiness, beautiful sunshine, beautiful walks, a beautiful town with all the amenities nearby, not to mention the beach that made Tixia and Shelby so happy. A comfortable rental for pet lovers. We came with four dogs, and everything was designed for their comfort and that of their owners. We look forward to returning.
A well located gîte just opposite the Cabourg racecourse. All the comfort and above all dogs are allowed regardless of breed and number...? Because before us, there were 3 of them. A superb welcome for our 2 little ones with gifts and treats. No need to take baskets and bowls, you have everything on site and for all sizes. A terrace and small garden with equipment and enclosed. There is a beach reserved for dogs and many dog-friendly restaurants and at the racecourse, dogs are allowed even at the 2 restaurants. To do it’s great. We came the first time in June for my birthday and then the month of July.
My precious ones shared a moment of the 1900 stroll on the Marcel Proust promenade in Cabourg.
