In our lodgings, we accept with great pleasure the doggies in our individual house, you can come with 2 dogs whatever their size. Categorized dogs are also accepted.
Your doggie is allowed everywhere under your supervision.
On site, a hose/shower is available to rinse your dog and a bowl can be made available to you on request. Your doggie will be able to enjoy the enclosed grounds and the walking paths.
Please pick up after your pet; it's a simple rule, but it's always good to remind people ;)
A supplement of €35/STAY and per dog will be required for your dog-friendly stay in the JURA.

At Abricosy, we know your dog is part of the family. Here is a selection of activities tested and approved by our four-legged friends within a 50 km radius of the gîte:
💧 Swimming & Water Sports
The Jura Lakes (Chalain, Vouglans, Clairvaux): While dogs are not allowed on supervised beaches in summer, they are welcome in wild coves and outside marked swimming areas.
Cani-Paddle & Canoe: Rent a paddleboard or canoe at Lake Vouglans (approximately 45 minutes away). Many rental companies (like Magic Nautic) accept dogs on board!
The Loue and the Lison: Numerous small pebble beaches along these rivers allow for refreshing dips less than 20 minutes from the cottage.
🥾 Hiking & Waterfalls (Leash recommended)
The Hérisson Waterfalls (~45 km): A must-see! The trail is accessible to dogs (on a leash) for a spectacular walk along the water.
The Billaude Waterfall (~35 km): Less frequented and very wild, perfect for a cool walk in the forest.
Baume-les-Messieurs Reculée (~35 km): Explore one of the “Most Beautiful Villages of France” and its vertiginous cliffs with your companion.
Mont Poupet (Directly from Salins-les-Bains): For sporty dogs, a breathtaking view of the valley awaits you at the summit.
🏛️ Dog-Friendly Cultural Tours
The Royal Saltworks of Arc-et-Senans (~15 km): The vast gardens of this UNESCO-listed site are accessible to dogs on leashes (only the indoor museums are off-limits to them).
Dino-Zoo Park (~35 km): Surprisingly, this open-air theme park accepts dogs on leashes for a family trip back in time.
The historic centre of Arbois: A charming urban stroll just 10 minutes from the cottage.
❄️ In Winter: Dog Hiking & Sledding
Near the resorts (such as Foncine-le-Haut or Chapelle-des-Bois, approx. 45 min), you can try cani-hiking (hiking pulled by a Nordic dog) for an unforgettable experience.
