Welcome to the Domaine: the Calprade gîtes located in Peyrilles in the Lot! Ready to experience a great holiday with your dog in the Lot? Find out what our accommodations have in store for ALL your family. Here, obviously dogs are welcome, we have 12 ourselves, so the opposite would be inappropriate 😉
In Calprade gites, your dog can enjoy the holidays as much as you do! On the spot :
– Each gite has its FENCED GARDEN. The fence is quite high, 1m20, for the smart ones 😉
– Next to the children's play area, we have fenced off a field to make it a CANIPARC to allow your companions to let off steam (games and water tank)
– In 2022, your dog will also be able to enjoy a small DOG POOL (small inflatable model).
– In each gîte, you will find poop bags at your disposal so that the places remain pleasant for everyone. Thanks for using it 🙂
– Near the accommodation, you will find beautiful swimming spots for your doggies: River at 20 kms and Lake at 4 kms.
– All around you, magnificent hikes are to be shared with your dog, you can also go canivtt, canirando or canicross!
– In addition, if you wish, we can work on the socialization of your dog with our 12 proteges. I'm sure they'll love playing together!
– We can also offer you blankets to install your dog comfortably in your gite as well as a water bowl.
– We do not apply a supplement for dogs,
– You can come with several dogs of all sizes and even categorized dogs. As long as they are educated, all are welcome.
SOME NEW THIS YEAR, we also now offer the sale of accessories for dogs, leashes, lanyards or even basket for dogs in Alpaca wool!!!
Then, a few small rules must be respected:
– dogs must be kept on a leash for security reasons with respect to other tenants,
– dogs will not have access to the swimming pool of the gîte
– On site, we have other animals, 12 dogs, 5 alpacas and 1 pony, so your dog will have to get along with all these little people.
Otherwise for everything else I have confidence in you and your companion!
Our 21-year-old daughter offers care for your companions during your outings where your dogs would not be accepted.
€8 per hour, €40 per day of more than 6 hours.
€6 per hour at home.
Things to know for your holiday at Domaine de La Calprade
Peyrilles - Lot
The Domaine de La Calprade is a hamlet of 4 gites for 5 to 7 people. In the heart of the Lot in Peyrilles. Here, walks and nature will be all around you to the delight of our four-legged friends and also your children! The Lot are superb landscapes and corners of nature to recharge your batteries!
Around the lodges, we have a breeding of alpacas, Pony and Shetland Sheepdog dogs.
We have also installed a large play area (trampoline, table football, swing, bird's nest, badminton, ping-pong table, sandbox, etc.) for children, three hectares of land and a renovated swimming pool.
And in addition:
The owners provide hiking sheets upon your arrival to help you discover the beautiful hikes in the area, as well as rivers and dog clubs.
What the Wouafer's recommend: (all addresses are within a 30 km radius of the gîte)
– For a gourmet stop, the restaurants: AutoGrill Cafeteria – Lot Causses Garden Area – A20 at Labastide Murat / Lapopie restaurant-bar at Saint Cirq Lapopie / The Pepper at Domme accept dogs! You can also go to the restaurant, Mourgues de Peyrilles, they accept dogs and you can eat really well for less than 16 euros at lunchtime!
– For lovers of activities to share with their dog, discover Saint Cirq-Lapopie cruises from Bouzies / Carsac water gardens located at Carasac-Aillac without forgetting the formidable course of Canoe Dordogne to do with your dog from Vitrac
– For dog-friendly cultural visits to discover with your dog, there are Ornithological park the Rocher des Aigles at Rocamadour / the Prehisto Dino Park at La Cave (cellar) / The Country Farm situated at Rocamadour

We rented a gîte in the Lot: the JAPON gîte at Domaine de la Calprade, this summer via your site. With 3 dogs, which is complicated on other sites. 👍 Great! THANKS !

The Domaine de la Calprade website is certainly very salesy, but once you get there, the reality is different.
Cleanliness of the gîte to seriously review, good ventilation of the place before the arrival of the tenants would surely have avoided the rather strong smells of wet dogs even the bathroom linen [however extra on the rental] in summer soaked and what about the park of agility impractical we would surely have lost a dog in the tall grass. We do not recommend.
an ideal place for a quiet vacation. the owners are very friendly and attentive to the slightest request. The cottage lacks nothing, the memory foam bedding is brilliant.
the enclosed garden is ideal for resting dogs who are graciously welcomed.
Don't hesitate to take the car to discover the tourist places, the banks of the Dordogne offer incredible spots for swimming with our 4-legged companions.

Very warm welcome from the owners. Our 2 dogs were very well received. The cottage is large, and the place is quiet.
