Our go-to spot for enjoying our holidays with Laïka is a small resort in the Landes region, in Contis, below Biscarosse. First, the exceptional Lous Seurrots Yelloh Village campsite where our four-legged friends are welcome in all accommodations. Then there's the beach, just 500 meters from the campsite, and the best part is the Contis stream which flows into the ocean and runs alongside the campsite right up to the beach – no waves and no salt either, which Laïka loves, and fewer people too.
If your dog is well-behaved, you can let her off-leash. There are also plenty of walks to enjoy on trails in the heart of the Landes forest. We've never been told Laïka wasn't welcome in restaurants or in the small village, and we always see the same regulars (dogs) strolling around the village or on the beach, often those belonging to surfers or local shopkeepers. For us, there's only one place where you can have our little darling stay hassle-free, and that's it!
