Welcome your faithful companions to our little paradise in the heart of nature in the Dordogne, the Camping d'Auberoche.

Dogs and cats have been a part of our lives since childhood , and this tradition continues with our children. How could we possibly refuse them at the campsite?! You'll have the chance to meet our three cats around our house.

It seems obvious to us that as hosts, we must welcome dogs to combat abandonment as the holidays approach.

Dedicated spaces:

In order to offer your dog a pleasant experience, you can take advantage of spaces where he can be free

☀️A large area near the pool where we allow them to be off-leash to run, to play

☀️ A list of activities / visits to share with your dog near the campsite

☀️ Trails and paths suitable for walks

☀️ A river with direct access from the campsite where they can swim and they love it!

☀️ A well-wooded and therefore shady campsite for their comfort, with beautiful spaces

☀️ A bowl of water at reception for a refreshing drink upon returning from your walk

☀️ A special dog shower for rinsing off after a walk or a swim in the river

☀️ In case you forget the mats, bowls, and blankets for the benches, please provide them.

☀️ Your dog is allowed throughout the Camping d'Auberoche: bar, snack bar, marquee except in the swimming pool area for hygiene reasons.

We understand the importance of your dog's presence during your vacation, and we do everything we can to ensure that their stay goes smoothly. Your pet is welcomed with kindness at the Camping d'Auberoche (we love to pet them and they come asking for them!) and we offer you suitable spaces, in order to respect both your comfort and that of your dog.

At Camping d'Auberoche, we have implemented a reception policy that respects both your dog and other campers.

To ensure a pleasant experience for all campers, a few simple golden rules must be followed:

– Dogs outside categories 1 and 2 are accepted, up to a limit of 2 dogs per accommodation or pitch and regardless of their size.

– For safety reasons, we ask that they be kept on a leash within the campsite and accompanied on each walk.

– You will present your identification passport and vaccination record upon arrival.

– We will ask you to pick up their droppings everywhere.

– Respect the peace and quiet of other campers and never leave your dog unattended. Also, do not leave your pet alone in the accommodation as it may suffer from severe heat stroke.

Comfortable accommodations for you and your dog:

– For a truly pleasant stay, we offer mobile homes with terraces enclosed by a gate , semi-covered and shaded.

– Some of our mobile homes have air conditioning

– A large cottage with a fenced courtyard.

In the Dordogne, many sites accept dogs for visits, which is not insignificant.

Ideally located in the upper Périgord Noir , at the crossroads of the Périgord regions, our 3-star family campsite is a haven of tranquility for your stays near Périgueux, Brantôme, and Montignac-Lascaux. Since 1980, and under our management since 2022, we, Christèle and Christophe, have been committed to welcoming you with simplicity and friendliness.

With its 55 spacious , tree-lined pitches separated by hedges, our campsite offers an ideal setting for your tent, caravan, or motorhome. Nature, peace, and relaxation await you for a rejuvenating holiday! If you'd like a little more comfort, we also have Premium pitches equipped with a fully equipped kitchen chalet or private bathroom facilities.

Camping d'Auberoche offers a diverse range of rentals, from furnished Bengali tents to mobile homes (2 or 3 bedrooms), including Lodge tents on stilts overlooking the riverbank, not forgetting cottages for 5 to 8 people.

We will ensure you have a most enjoyable stay, whether you're traveling as a family, a couple, or with friends, in a verdant setting where calm and serenity prevail. All of this is ideally located near numerous attractions (caves, castles, the charming city of Périgueux with its magnificent cathedral reminiscent of the Sacré-Cœur, and many villages listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France).

Not forgetting the activities of hiking, cycling, gravel biking, canoeing, and for motorcyclists, magnificent road trips full of twisty roads.

And what if we talked about the gastronomy of Périgord…! Duck, truffles, strawberries, walnuts, wines, etc.

In terms of activities and entertainment , you'll find something for everyone, young and old. Camping d'Auberoche offers a playground with an inflatable structure, trampoline, climbing frame and slide, heated swimming pool, pétanque court, table tennis, table football, fishing, archery… and evening entertainment including concerts, dances, karaoke, country music…

We offer a bar open all day with a bread service and a snack bar open every evening. A small night market is held every Thursday evening at the campsite in July and August, featuring local producers and artisans.
