Hiking on the Taillefer lakes plateau: your dog is welcome here
Here is a lovely hike to share with your dog in the Taillefer Massif in the heart of the Isère mountains, one hour from Grenoble.
Today I share with you the hike of the Taillefer lakes plateau in the Taillefer Massif.
Dogs are allowed on a leash (very important because it is a Natura 2000 area). We can never repeat it enough, but please respect the rules in these areas to preserve our nature and these peaceful settings.
Let’s start with a geographical point: the Taillefer plateau is located in Matheysine between Oisans and Belledonne.
The hike of the Plateau des Lacs du Taillefer is an accessible hike that will allow you to discover breathtaking views of the Meije, the Grandes Rousses, the Vercors and the Chamrousse resort. This is a hike to be favored in Autumn because the colors are sumptuous.
On the hiking side, here are some practical points: 10 km with 600D+ it's a medium difficulty hike with a bit of climbing at the beginning before arriving on the wonderful plateau. The hike is a loop with departure and arrival from the hamlet of Poursollet. Departure Arrival : 45.052979 / 5.89806
You can park at the Poursollet lake.
