Where to go on the West Coast of France with your family and dog? From Brittany to Charente-Maritime, including the Vendée, I'll take you on a tour of dog-friendly campsites for your next holiday. And yes… I don't know if you've heard the news: 5 campsites belonging to the Eden Villages brand, all on the West Coast, have just been awarded the prestigious QUALIDOG label!

These comfortable campsites welcome you and your dog to the coast. With water parks for children and adults, dog-friendly restaurants, and entertainment for all ages, the whole family is truly welcome.

For a bit of background, I've been in contact with the Eden Villages brand for three years now. Their goal all this time? To improve the quality of care offered to dogs at their campsites . So it was only natural that they recently applied for the QUALIDOG label!

Our team then looked into the various applications, the conditions for welcoming animals, and the proposed facilities. Several Eden Villages campsites have just obtained the QUALIDOG Label… and others will soon join them 🥳

👋 How are your little ones welcomed?

  • A dog welcome kit is given to you upon arrival
  • Dogs are allowed in campsite restaurants
  • Large dogs are welcome
  • 1 dog per rental, but if you have 2, call reception 😉
  • Teams who love dogs and are sensitive to the approach

It's hard to choose, isn't it? I admit it would be a tough choice for me too, but I'd definitely lean towards my beloved Brittany! Basically, these are 12 new holiday destinations that are committed to dog-friendly holidays and, above all, to abandoning their pets. And I'm buying that!

No, more seriously, I really wanted to thank brands like Eden Villages that are making a real commitment to more inclusive tourism for our pets. (Eden Villages, if you stumble upon this article, thank you very much <3)!
